I used to think maybe you loved me now baby I'm sure
And I just can't wait till the day when you knock on my door
Now every time I go for the mailbox, gotta hold myself down
'Cause I just can't wait 'til you write me you're coming around
And I just can't wait till the day when you knock on my door
Now every time I go for the mailbox, gotta hold myself down
'Cause I just can't wait 'til you write me you're coming around
I'm walking on sunshine (Wow!)
I'm walking on sunshine (Wow!)
I'm walking on sunshine (Wow!)
And don't it feel good
I'm walking on sunshine (Wow!)
I'm walking on sunshine (Wow!)
And don't it feel good
Hey, alright now
And don't it feel good, hey
And don't it feel good, hey
I used to think maybe you loved me, now I know that it's true
And I don't want to spend my whole life, just waiting for you
Now I don't want you back for the weekend
Not back for a day, no no no
I said baby I just want you back
And I want you to stay (Oh yeah now!)
And I don't want to spend my whole life, just waiting for you
Now I don't want you back for the weekend
Not back for a day, no no no
I said baby I just want you back
And I want you to stay (Oh yeah now!)
I'm walking on sunshine (Wow!)
I'm walking on sunshine (Wow!)
I'm walking on sunshine (Wow!)
And don't it feel good

I see the use of line, rule of thirds, and contrast in these! I think my definite fave is the one with the single converse. It's very crisp and clean.

ReplyDeleteI think you executed the compositional elements in these shots, mostly the converse shoe for isolating the subject, very intriguing. You used symmetry and rule of thirds in your pictures very well. P.S. the ants on the doughnuts lol.
ReplyDeleteThe first photo has a great sense of line and depth which I feel really makes the photo stand out. There is also a sense of balance with the two palm trees on either side of the shoes.
ReplyDeleteThe song you chose shows the sense of happiness and sunshine coming through in the photos. I feel like the donut image is the odd one out and functions as an ironic twist that might comment on the upbeat nature of the song.
ReplyDeleteYour brighter photos with lighter values definitely capture the essence of this song most efficiently.
ReplyDeleteThe contrast with the pictures of the shoes works really well! Also, the sun flares give an interesting texture to some of them and contrast is used very nicely in them.
ReplyDeleteYOur second and seventh photos showed great contrast. The leading lines in the first and fourth photos are also very successful.
ReplyDeleteThe silouhette in the later photo creates a nice contrast against the background. Symmetry found in the middle photos was very successful and gave them an almost geometric feel.
ReplyDeleteIm hungry from the donuts lol.You could've isolated the donut in that photo and made it the sole focus though, to draw attention to the donut and glaze and all the good stuff.
ReplyDeleteGreat song choice lol. Your photos did a good job at capturing the essence of that song. I think that some of these could have been slightly rotated to try to get the horizon line to be more horizontal. Also, in the 8th photo, I can see you in the reflection of her glasses with the camera pointing towards her. Other than that, I think your second photo especially has a nice contrast with how dark the palm trees are against the background which has a nice gradient of white to gray that contrasts nicely with the trees.
ReplyDeletei think the image of the donut is sort of uuuh ,,,and i never though i would say this,,, thought provoking. in contrast with the rest of the happy go lucky photos this like rotten donut that looks super pure fits almost perfectly well. anyways the strong lights in this that darken/ create silhouettes of your subject are my favorite and i think you really captured the essence to this song with ur own touch
ReplyDeletethese are so cute! I think you did a great job at conveying the happy feeling of the song through your pictures.
