I also chose to work with light this week, I think you did a great job. Also, I very much enjoyed your photos with shallow depth of field, especially the bell one. Its super clear and feels very powerful. Well done.
I agree with everyone who commented before me! The shallow depth of field was well done. You did a great job making sure the correct things were in focus so that the textures came out. I really like the photos of the flowers and the clock tower tin.
Wow, these photos are very well composed. The picture with the bell is my favorite I think you were able to capture the subject really well and the lighting is awesome, great work!
Your depth of field is A1. The 3rd photo of the flowers is really interesting. The textures make think of something that lives in the ocean. I also think that the photo of the light circle is super cool and was a great way of experimenting with motion blur.
depth of field ftw ! 3rd, 4th, and 5th are my faves especially the 5th, almost looks like the bell is that persons eyeball. i also think the glow of the lights in ur last photo is really nice and homey and i would totally go to red robins at 3am if i was drunk or something because of that photo

ReplyDeleteThe depth of field is very compelling, especially in these nighttime compositions.
ReplyDeleteThe depth of field gives a really ominous perspective to the subjects. The framing on the night pictures is really selective and interesting.
