Your photos are always so geometric and satisfying to look at. I like how they're always zoomed in shots that are taken completely out of context. Unless I've been to the location myself, I can't recognize what I'm looking at so it just really forces me to take other formal elements of the photograph into mind. My favorite photo color-wise would be the 6th one. The reflections of the lights, the shapes that they produces, and the glow of the red stripes all work very well together. Compositionally, the first one is the most intriguing. The perspective/ rotation of the image really messes with dimension. It makes me question which way is up and which way is down. Really love how trippy it is.
The patterns in architectural forms you captured are enhanced with the color as the strongest element. These photos would be very similar tonally if it were in B&W.
It's quite evident that your focus this week was based on architecture, and I think its was successfully so. Throughout these images the geometry is kept quite simple, which makes it accessible to appreciate the colors.
I don't know if I'm allowed to say these photos are aesthetic, but your compositions are so pleasing to look at. I love the way line works in your photos especially the second one with the railings and wall
d*ng those lines are crisp as h*ck !!! Everything is incredibly balanced and you have a great eye for design. The 5th photo is super interesting in how it's flipped upside down with the water on the upper part of the photo which gives it a surrealistic edge that is a nice juxtaposition to all of your geometric shapes.
these linez.... are so good........god save me.. i dont even kno w whats going on in some of them i just love the never ending lines... ur 1st and 3rd are my favorite the 1st one is very well cropped and the second feels like i entered some sci-fi geometric checkers kingdom
ENJOYED YOUR FOCUS ON LINES AND TEXTURES AND STRUCTURE, THEY WERE ALL SUPER VISUALLY APPEALING. just realized I typed that all in caps but hey well done. You killed it.

ReplyDeleteI like the use of line and shadow in your pictures! The angles and the flipped pictures really made me stop and look at them for a bit.
