Whether or not it was intensional, the black leggings against the reflected sky in Lake Alice created some really spectacular usage of contrast. The fourth photo has something interesting going on in that the figure is imitating the lines of the tree in the background. Perhaps the later photos (while spectacularly edited lmao) could use some better use of contrast? If you blur your eyes the image looks kinda a grey rectangle. Overall though I think you used some intuitive improvisation for your prompt.
Ok great creativity and trump is the biggest clown i love what you did with this. The 5th photo effectively uses rule of thirds and the lighting was well used.
your use of the prompt is so creative! The contrast works well in the first picture, from her leggings to the lake, and I think it would look even better if you edited the contrast more. really good tho!!
The twerking on the tree for me is one of the more successful pieces in this weeks shoot. I think it was a hilarious way to capture the idea of twerking as the other images may have been confused for squats. Great creativity when choosing your clown subjects. For next time, I'm not sure if it's possible to catch that booty in motion, but see if you can.
I love the fact that you didn't do an actual clown. amazing. Frick fsu haha but for real the photos were very successful and I think the twerking on the tree real hit the nail on the head.
I enjoyed seeing the contrast in these shots as well as how you portrayed your prompt in your images. The twerking one was amusing and very successful.
super clever in using trump as a clown for your prompt. love your deep depth of field in all of these photos and how in focus everything is. your vertical portraits are great examples of the rule of thirds and the contrast from your models leggings also lends to the attention grabbing. great job
oh my god . LOL great take on the prompt. Honestly, the trump ones are the most successful. Unclockable photoshopping. There's a lot of interesting leading lines in your photos. Like in your 7th photo with how the tree leads you straight to her bum, really drawing your eye to the subject.

ReplyDeleteUsing Trump as a stand-in for the subject of a clown was brilliant and your model's black leggings provide contrast for all of the photos throughout.

ReplyDeleteI love your diptychs! They are compositionally strong and work together almost as a narrative.
