the bikini photo is really nice i like how the shadow of the palm tree almost correlates to the breast of the model its pretty symbolic. i also really like ur last photo its so shiny and i could totally see that on a billboard somewhere with some text thats like "do u want to start a forest fire" or some shit.
THAT PUPPY IS SO CUTE and I'm sure is the goodest of good pups. For a moment I thought your first picture was reflected but there were two people! I think you explored light and shadow very well in your second photo to get an interesting pattern over the body. Well executed and great photos!
The pictures in the middle with predominately white backgrounds have very nice value compositions. Additionally the trees form an interesting composition as they repeat into the distance.
I can’t get over the backstory of that dog. But that last picture is super rad !!! It feels so surreal and fantastical and is just so compositionally interesting with all the variations in lines. Your formal elements shown throughout all of these are super well executed and add to the overall success of your photos.
Marina, Twins for symmetry? Mike drop* GENIUS!!!! These photos are really well done, all of them show a great sense of the compositional elements. Really well thought out and executed. The pictures with the puppy while super cute, don't represent an isolated subject, we spoke briefly in class about this, I recommend isolating the subject within a space using contrast, texture or pattern to isolate the subject. Otherwise these are a great job done.
I love the puppy pics very cute, and the reflections in your pictures. Great shots over all, loved them.
ReplyDeleteOh my God did you take photos of twins for symmetry?! IM CACKLING. You're a genius.
ReplyDeleteThe puppy pictures have really nice depth of field! also I lovvveee the symmetry with the twins! super inventive
ReplyDeleteImage 5 has an interesting tension with the figure and the horizon line, and distinct use of contrast.
ReplyDeletethe twins!! the power of horizon is evident in a couple and portrayed nicely. all of them really well done!
ReplyDeleteI love your use of shadow in the second image - so beautiful. The portrait of the twins is awesome too! Really nice work overall.
