Your use of symmetry and the way you compositionally centered your subject in a lot of these photographs works very well for your overall theme. Also, excellent quality of light, especially in the 7th and 10th photos.
The ninth photo excels in comparison to the rest. The rows of bleachers form an almost symmetrical pair of leading lines which point towards the subject, of which the top half contrasts nicely against the field. It could have supplemented the sense of variety in this set if the subject had more facial expressions.
Great theme this week! You use of symmetry in these photos is very strong! The texture of her sweat in image 7 is very intriguing. These photos show great use of the quality of light.
As some of the people above me have already said, your use of symmetry was very evident. The model's expression also shows the dedication and grit that goes into a work out (especially if you're working out at the stadium and running those stairs). The quality light and sun flare that you managed to capture in your 10th photo is beautiful. And the stop motion in the 9th photo was just as well executed. I love that I can see the kinetic energy of her actions through her hair and the folds in her shirt.
Your use of symmetry in almost all the pictures really made the collection look cohesive! The theme is very evident, and the use of shallow depth of field in the seventh picture is really well done. However, I would try to be careful with the dodging on the second picture, it's really noticeable.
There is a great sense of movement within your work from photo to photo. The 11th photo is very successful, it feels like an athletic wear or shoe ad. The sun flare ads a complex and beautiful depth to the photo.
I can hear eye of the tiger in the backround! The 4th and 10th photo use leading lines effectively. In the 6th, the model is well exposed and you can really see her competitive and tired emotions. well done
That lens flare in the last image though! I think your photos are most successful when you have a sense of the model's surroundings, and not just a generic blank wall. The immensity of the stadium and repetition of the seats as a compositional element provides depth to your photos.
The photos where the subject is moving are your strongest but I think the texture of the sweat on the shoulder turned out real good. The interesting backgrounds add to your photos
omg the transition between the 3rd, 4th, and 5th photos are rly great. I wish that the whole entire series would have been her keeping that same face but with different body poses and different locations. I think that there could have been improvement on the arrangement of your photos too to create a more linear narrative of her training and ending being sweaty n gross. Aside from that, these are well taken compositionally.
i think you definitely captures the struggle, contempt, and determination when it comes to working out. I also think your decision to use stop motion instead of blur motion to convey Motion was a Good one to say the least as it allows us to focus on ur subjects expressions and struggle more than the actual motions. your 6th photo aka the portrait is my favorite and i love the contrast between the shadows on the subject and the lit up background of the stadium, in my opinion it implies that there is work to be done in regards to fitness but more than that, satisfaction and glory.you captured your subject struggling elegantly this week great job!!
