The contrast of the dark jeans and light back-round really makes them stand out. You use of the hammer to convey the hardworking brand of levis is effective
ReplyDelete10/10 for the product photography. I think it's always difficult when shooting just the product because the amount of angles and compositions you could do just seem endless. I agree with what Marina said. The contrast between the jeans and background really help to accentuate the product. I'm also a really big fan of the use of asymmetry in the second photo!

ReplyDeleteThe last photo with the levi's logo does a great job at portraying the theme of "workin it" and selling the jeans. There's also great contrast in your work between the background and jeans. Great work this week.
ReplyDeleteI wish that you would have added the levi logo to even more of your photos as it makes it instantly made that photo feel like it could be in a magazine. Also, I think that your second half of your photos are more successful than your first half. By using a model, the jeans are given more character and shows them off more effectively than just a folded up pair of jeans. You definitely could have had some fun with your model's posing in different ways to accentuate the jeans (like squatting, stretching, etc.)
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job setting up the studio for these photos. I think the Levi's logo compositionally adds to the last photo. Also, good contrast overall!

ReplyDeleteGreat use of contrast in all of your photos. I like how you captured the jeans in your photos and showed texture of the denim.
ReplyDeleteContrast plays a huge role in your shoot, and you accomplished it successfully. I would think about a location to give the jeans and the model more context, but these work compositionally especially with the logo.
